Dermal Filler Sydney
Not happy with the way your face and areas around your mouth have changed over time? It’s time to stop dreaming of a fuller, more defined face. Dermal filler injection treatment at Fresh Clinic Sydney will restore the volume that your face has lost as you have aged. Fuller, more defined and firmer skin – because everyone deserves to look as good as they feel.
The environment and the natural ageing process changes the appearance of your face and surrounding skin. Over time, as your facial bone structure changes, the collegen, elastic and supporting skin starts sagging and losing mass associated with youth. Repeated facial expressions and movements can also cause furrows and lines to form around your face. Dermal filler treatment at Fresh Clinic Sydney is an investment towards feeling younger, more beautiful and confident.
What is in the dermal filler?
The dermal fillers we use for your face are made from hyaluronic acid – a natural, sugar based substance that helps absorb water and replace volume in the areas lost. Hyaluronic acid, which is concentrated in your skin, is a naturally-occurring polysaccharide found in the human body. This jelly-like substance helps to keep your skin appearing plump and soft. As you age, your body begins to absorb more of your naturally occurring hyaluronic acid then what it makes. At Fresh Clinic. we use pharmaceutical grade hyaluronic acid in our dermal fillers to restore what is lost naturally.
The Fresh Clinic cosmetic injection specialists use dermal filler products from a leading European pharmaceutical manufacturer. Due to Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) restrictions, Fresh Clinic isn’t able to name the dermal fillers we use when we inject your face.
What areas can be treated with dermal filler?
Dermal filler injections can restore volume, soften and fill any lines and enhance the overall shape of your face. They can also smooth out wrinkles, for example around your mouth. They can be used to highlight your facial features, such as having fulsome cheeks and luscious lips. Dermal filler is helpful to create symmetry in your face, enhancing facial beauty.
At your consultation, a Fresh Clinic cosmetic injection specialist will discuss how best to enhance your face, including:
- Giving your face a natural result with dermal fillers – as if you were well rested and fresh,
- Making the areas treated proportional to the rest of the face,
- Filling any lines and wrinkles around your face and correcting the loss of volume, and
- Lifting the corners of the eyes, cheeks, mouth and jawline so you don’t look so tired, sad or angry all the time.
What is the dermal filler treatment like?
Before your face is injected with dermal filler, an anaesthetic numbing cream and ice pack are used to numb the area being treated. The dermal fillers used at Fresh Clinic have a built in anaesthetic, which reduces any discomfort or pain.
After your dermal filler injection treatment, you may experience minor swelling for 1-2 days. In rare instances, some clients report mild swelling and bruising for up to one week. Fresh Clinic advises that you avoid wearing makeup during the first 24 hours following your dermal filler treatment. We also advise that you avoid strenuous exercise and ultraviolet (UV) exposure for at least 2 days after your dermal filler treatment.
The dermal filler Fresh Clinic uses is from a leading European pharmaceutical manufacturer of dermal filler and will give your face a soft and smooth, natural look.
How long does dermal filler last?
At Fresh Clinic Sydney our dermal fillers typically last from 6 to 12 months. After that time, the hyaluronic acid gets absorbed by your body and disappears. If however you are using dermal filler for the first time, some clients report that dermal filler has only lasted 3-4 months- this being because their body quickly absorbed the hyaluronic acid injected into the treated areas after having such low natural levels. If you have dermal filler every 6-12 months, your body will adjust to its presence and you will find that your dermal filler will last longer. It also helps to stay hydrated- hyaluronic acid molecules unique ability to attract and retain greater then 1,000 times its weight in water means that the more water you drink, the longer your dermal filler will last.
How much does dermal filler cost?
Dermal Filler is priced per 1 ml used. The amount of ml you will need depends on:
- The areas of your face you’re having treated. For example. dermal filler to define your jawline, or to fill deep lines or enhance cheeks, requires a thicker, more expensive type of hyaluronic acid to lift and fill, then that used in more delicate areas, such as under the eyes or lips,
- The volume in ml’s of dermal filler needed to fill any lines and wrinkles around your face and correcting the loss of volume, and
- The extent to which your face needs lifting and filling, such as the corners of the eyes, cheeks, mouth and jawline. If you have deep lines around your mouth and lips for example, you may need more dermal filler than someone with finer lines.
The image below gives you an indication of how much dermal filler in ml is usually required to treat each area of the face. Areas marked * usually require much less then 1 ml and any surplus dermal filler can be used to treat other areas of the face.
At Fresh Clinic, pricing starts from $395 per/ml used. Fresh Clinic Sydney has one of the lowest prices available per 1 ml for dermal filler treatment in Sydney. We only use dermal filler from a leading European pharmaceutical manufacturer of dermal filler.
